Seeking highly trained dancers for our 2019-2020 / 20th Anniversary Season.

To attend the audition, you must submit the DANCER REGISTRATION FORM below. 

AUDITION DATE & TIME

Monday September 23, 2019

Check-in 10:00am, Audition begins at 10:30am

 

REQUIREMENTS

-Minimum age 18 years.

-Strong ballet technique and contemporary dance training required for all positions.

-Paid Company Dancer positions require professional level aerial training. Apprentice positions require advanced level aerial training. Trainee positions do not require any previous aerial training or ability. All positions provide free training of the highest quality in aerial technique and aerial dance.

-Company and apprentice positions require availability Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 10:00am-2:00pm and for all performances. Trainee positions require availability Tuesdays 10:00am-12:00pm and Wednesdays 12:00-2:00pm and for all performances.

AUDITION FORMAT

The audition will consist of advanced/professional level ballet class, contemporary dance sequences from company repertoire, improvisation, partnering, basic level aerial technique class and an introduction to Aerial Dance Chicago's airborne repertoire. Bring your resume, headshot, ballet shoes, a snack and a water bottle.
