HOW TO CARE FOR YOUR AERIAL FABRIC

If cared for properly, aerial fabric is very long lasting and can be used for many years. Here is how to care for your apparatus:

• Never connect other metal hardware directly to your Figure 8 carabiner. This will damage to your Figure 8 carabiner.

• Never drop your Figure 8 carabiner.

• Store silk at home or in the car in a sealed box or bag away from pet dander, pet hair, dust, dirt and moisture.

• Keep out of direct sunlight to avoid fading.

• Carefully read this warning for aerial fabric.

HOW TO WASH YOUR AERIAL FABRIC

• Remove your Figure 8 Carabiner.

• Wash in a standard size washing machine, using cold water and mild detergent. Be sure to spread the weight of the silk out evenly in your machine. Do not use bleach.

• Once washed, remove your silk and detangle in an area that is free of dust, dirt, pet dander and pet hair.

• Dry on low to medium heat, removing periodically to detangle as needed.

• Once dry, detangle in an area that is free of dust, dirt, pet dander and pet hair.

• Now you are ready to reattach your Figure 8 Carabiner. (video below)
