Lisa Caldwell is a native of St. Charles, Missouri and received her early dance training at Ballet Mississippi and the St. Louis Ballet School where she performed many classical and contemporary ballets. She also had the opportunity to perform with the St. Louis Ballet in Christopher d’Amboise’s world premier, Tribute. Lisa attended the University of Kansas on scholarship and in four busy years received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. She performed with the University Dance Company and worked with local and national choreographers James Moreno, Lane Gifford, David Justin, and Melissa Thodos. Upon graduation Lisa moved to Chicago to dance with Thodos Dance Chicago as a Trainee for their 25th and final season. Lisa is excited to stretch the limits of dance in her first season with Aerial Dance Chicago!
