Grace Kozisek (she/her) is a Chicago local who fell in love with dance and aerial arts at an early age as she was transitioning away from competitive gymnastics. During this transition, she even had the privilege of training with Chloe herself for a time.

Grace trained in ballet, modern, and jazz at the former studio Art Reaching Children of Chicago (ARCC) under Jennifer Minkin and Antoinette Klimek. She was a part of their pre-professional company working and training with guest choreographers such as: Ron De Jesus, Christian Denice, and Jeffery Hancock. In her last year of high school, Grace trained in a program partnered with the Joffrey Ballet. This program was led by Joffrey teachers providing a training program akin to what would be found in their own studio.

Grace attended Carthage College in Kenosha, WI pursuing a double major of Chemistry and Mandarin Chinese with a minor in dance. It was very important to Grace that she could keep dancing even as she explored other interest pathways. The dance minor at Carthage allowed her to further deepen her dance training and explore becoming a choreographer herself. Sadly, the world events of late 2019-early 2020 meant that her college dance career ended abruptly.

One of the silver linings that Grace found in those uncertain times was Aerial Dance Chicago. She came back to training at Aerial Dance Chicago in early 2021 and has not stopped since. Grace is looking forward to learning more about aerial arts and teaching at Aerial Dance Chicago.
