Genevieve Brady, a native of Barrington, Illinois, began her dance career at a young age, training in disciplines of ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, and jazz funk. During her early career, she was exposed to exceptional professional dancer/choreographers including Ashley Burns, Cesar Salinas, Megan Michale, and many more. She graduated Cum Laude from Western Michigan University, receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance in spring of 2018. During such time, she was featured in restaged works by Loïe Fuller, Lew Christensen, and Brian Enos, as well as in original works by Brenden Duggan, James Gregg, and David Curwen. She also received supplemental training from Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Visceral Dance Chicago, Giordano Dance Chicago, Inaside Dance Chicago, and Movement Invention project in New York City. Genevieve joined Aerial Dance Chicago as an apprentice in the summer of 2018 and has thoroughly enjoyed dancing, creating, and collaborating with this incredible company.
