Everis Stodder began her aerial dance training in 2007 at the age of 6 her love for movement and expression was apparent from a young age. She began with gymnastics and ballet, and then circus with strong interests in handstands, circus aerial, and Acro; eventually dipping more dominantly back to aerial dance.
Everis was unschooled through all years of middle and high school and was able to find time and motivation to explore dance with various opportunities that came her way, and on her own. Everis also has extensive experience with theater, and committed interests to music writing and visual art.
After being part of Aerial dance Chicago for 8 years, Everis joined the ADC youth ensemble, and was able to grow and further expand her expectations for the art. At age 14 Everis began exploring Ballet through ADC.
Everis is captivated by the ranges that can be achieved through aerial dance, the freedom that is found when a dance floor becomes 3 dimensional like no other. She looks forward to the future of Aerial dance, and continuing to teach and explore dance with Aerial Dance Chicago!
