Cindy (she/her) grew up in Washington State training in multiple studios and styles including traditional Chinese dance. She received her BFA in Dance from Western Washington University (2019) While attending university, she danced with Graffiti Dance Theatre for two seasons and was honored to perform works by Leslie Krause, Rachel Lincoln, and Nolan Dennett among others. After moving to Chicago, Cindy was a founding member of Echo Modern Dance Collective (2019-20), danced with Identity Performing Arts, and was a performing apprentice for Cerqua Rivera Dance Theatre for the 2021 season. At Cerqua Rivera, Cindy was honored to perform a solo work by Eddy Ocampo and group pieces Katlin Bourgeois, Monique Haley, and Shannon Alvis. She is honored to dance with Aerial Dance Chicago beginning 2021 and teach others to love aerial since 2022. She has danced works by Chloe Jensen, Karen Fisher Doyle, Tracy Von Kaenel, Lauren Reed, Alana Kletke and others and is so excited to continue dancing and flying.
